It has been revealed on Mami Kawada's Geneon Website that the coupling song for her 7th single masterpiece will be...

Yes, these two did it again as they were the ones who composed/arranged for Mami's previous coupling song Ame. But to tell you the truth, I can't seem to distinguish what will be the outcome of the song? Will it be a rockin' techno? A hot rock like JOINT? Or half-techno half-rock just like PSI-missing?
But seeing they're the ones who will do this one, I'm pretty sure it's a great one! =D

Mami's 7th single "masterpiece" [updated]
This is the cover of Mami's 7th single entitled masterpiece (c/o Amazon) which will be the 2nd opening theme for To Aru Majutsu no Index. No tracklisting for the single has been released but it is safe to say this is the format of tracklisting:

Mami's 7th single announced!
That's right! Her second tie-in with the anime series To Aru Majutsu no Index! She'll be performing the opening theme again and hopefully much better and memorable. She did very well with PSI-missing but let's hope we'll have another as epic win as JOINT, nee? ^_^ Release date will be on January 28, 2009.
Speaking of PSI-missing, it is still charting and has accumulated almost 16,000 copies. Hopefully it'll reach 20,000 although it's a bit impossible for now but let's wait for a miracle. :P

Although it doesn't have that much of a content aside from her biography and discography, this website opens Mami's official fan club called m.a.l.l. meaning "Mami Artist Lasting Live". Yes even this beggar-owner wanted to join this fan club, it costs a lot and it has some requirements! *whew* So much for something like this. Anyway, you can check it by yourself and join if you're a genuine fan of Mami Kawada!

Although her main website hasn't been updated for aeons, some good samaritan fella in ivemusic.net and Neowing posted this info so might as well spread the news. xD
Seeing the arrangement for the B-side song, it looks like we'll be having another rockish track once again and I hope the two (TOMOYUKIxTAKESHI) will do a good job on this one just like they did to JOINT, sense and portamento.

New Anime Theme Songs!!!
Late as it may seem, Mami Kawada will be doing 2 new theme songs from 2 different animes. First, is entitled "My Friend" which is an ending theme for StrikerS Soundstage X Drama CD (this song will be included on the Disc 2 of the OST), a drama adaptation for the anime series Nanoha which is a prequel/spin-off for the anime/game Triangle Hearts making this I've Sound's second tie-in with the said series. You can listen to this song by clicking here. Second, is the opening theme for the autumn-released anime series To Aru Majutsu no Index. No further info was released but this will come of Mami Kawada's 6th single (with a catalog number of GNCX-0009) and will be released on October 29, 2008 which is roughly one-year gap from her latest single JOINT.

Fansite Slowly Recovering
After several months of hiatus (due to some problems), this fansite hasn't been updated with the latest news/infos. And for this, Fred_Itachi would like to apologize since he is also busy on his studies and his PC has just been fixed a few days ago. Slowly, he will update the contents of this fansite so to those who visit this fansite often to look for Mami Kawada updates, Fred_Itachi would like to apologize but he reassures that he will update this site or even revamp the layout if he has the time! ;)
Now for her latest release album SAVIA which was released last March 26, 2008.

The album itself contains 8 new songs and 5 other songs (which came from her 3 last released singles including an album remix of Beehive). Majority was, as usual, contributed by I've Sound composer/arranger Tomoyuki Nakazawa and his assistant in arranging songs, Takeshi Ozaki. It even contained one song wherein the 3 of I've Sound's greatest arrangers combined to form one experimental yet astounding piece and her most successful single, JOINT was also in this album. Almost unbelievable that I've Sound can still compose such a piece that makes them stand out from any of their previous works. Worth the buy and listen, IMO.
In terms of first week sales, it was unexpectedly weak compared to her JOINT single which is about approximately 60% higher sales than this album and it only managed to peak at the #15 spot in the Oricon Weekly Charts. Low as it may seem but for now, the total sales of this album should be more than 10, 000 copies since April 2, 2008.
