Mami's 3rd album "LINKAGE"
Apparently, my guess was right! Mami is now working on her third album entitled "LINKAGE" which will contain her new singles (with the exception of L'Oiseau bleu). Here are the details:

This album will contain her To Aru Majutsu no Index and Shakugan no Shana S singles including the ending theme for the latter entitled All in good time. There will be (as usual) 13 tracks with 10 new songs (including All in good time since it did not appear on her singles) and the other three would be PSI-missing, masterpiece, and Prophecy.
The DVD content is still unknown though. Probably one of the new songs will get the PV hopefully something as great as portamento or even better nee? I'm just wondering if there will be a song entitled the same as the album title... Since SAVIA did not contain any but the word itself was mentioned in the lyrics of portamento.

Mami on a new eroge theme song!

On a rather late news, this song will be used as theme song for sprite's upcoming eroge entitled Koi to Senkyou to Chocolate (Love and Elections and Chocolate). No previews yet but will keep it posted here. Have to apologize for not posting it here earlier because I don't have much time since my work is killing me. -_- But if you want to get the freshest news about Mami Kawada, you may want to check out I've Sound Forum! ^_^ I'm a member there by the name of fierycrimson. Btw, you have to be a member there for you to read some of the posts there but it's free... and in English! :) (The Chinese I've Sound forum is killing my mind) I update there since it's more easy for me unlike here -- open Dreamweaver, edit, save, then overwrite in the FTP (too many processes).

Mami still very loyal to Shana series!
After releasing her 7th single masterpiece, which is the opener to the anime series To Aru Majutsu no Index, Kawada was not appointed to perform the theme songs anymore for its sequel To Aru Kagaku no Railgun. However, Kawada still remains as the performer for the intro and outro themes for the upcoming OVA for the anime series Shakugan no Shana entitled Shakugan no Shana S. It has been confirmed that she's been recording for this one and will come out as her 8th maxi single.
The OVA will aire on Japan on October 23, 2009 and as the news is still fresh, the single title, credits and release date are still not available as of now. And take note that after this OVA, the producer of the said series plans to make the finale of this series which has a HIGH probability in which Kawada will do again the theme song (although this has not been confirmed).

More on late news and some update!
First of all, the maintainer would like to apologize for not updating this section for a very long time (almost 3 months) since his schedule is very tight. But rest assured that the other sections will be much updated! ^_^
On a rather late news, Kawada's song for I've Sound 10th Anniversary "Departed to the Future" Special CD Box entitled L'Oiseau bleu (music/arrangement by I've producer C.G mix) will be released as a maxi single which will become her 8th single (NOTE: It is stated on her website that this is only a kind of "filler" single but not a chronological single) and of course, it will be produced by I've Sound and Geneon Universal Records. Not much details has been spilled but the single will be released on June 24, 2009. The single cover above is NOT the cover for the maxi single but only for the 10th Anniversary Box Set cover.
And Mami would also be doing another eroge theme! It will be the opening theme for CandySoft's eroge Mechamimi. Entitled platinum, credit goes to Maiko Iuchi for the composition and arrangement. Well, it's been a long time since Kawada has done her last eroge theme which was for Soshite Asu no Sekai Yori (For our days and return to that place) last November 2007.

Now, now today is February 13 and it's our dearest I've diva's birthday!! We, your fans wish you all the best for this year. Continue to be productive and amaze us with your singing voice, talent and of course, songwriting! Even though most J-pop fans doesn't really care about the lyrics, this poster really is! Whenever he sees the translation of your lyrics, he never fails to be amazed on how you expressed your feelings/emotions to the song! XD

Yes, these two did it again as they were the ones who composed/arranged for Mami's previous coupling song Ame. But to tell you the truth, I can't seem to distinguish what will be the outcome of the song? Will it be a rockin' techno? A hot rock like JOINT? Or half-techno half-rock just like PSI-missing?
But seeing they're the ones who will do this one, I'm pretty sure it's a great one! =D

Mami's 7th single announced!
That's right! Her second tie-in with the anime series To Aru Majutsu no Index! She'll be performing the opening theme again and hopefully much better and memorable. She did very well with PSI-missing but let's hope we'll have another as epic win as JOINT, nee? ^_^ Release date will be on January 28, 2009.
Speaking of PSI-missing, it is still charting and has accumulated almost 16,000 copies. Hopefully it'll reach 20,000 although it's a bit impossible for now but let's wait for a miracle. :P

Although it doesn't have that much of a content aside from her biography and discography, this website opens Mami's official fan club called m.a.l.l. meaning "Mami Artist Lasting Live". Yes even this beggar-owner wanted to join this fan club, it costs a lot and it has some requirements! *whew* So much for something like this. Anyway, you can check it by yourself and join if you're a genuine fan of Mami Kawada!
